In the Hamptons during the first quarter of 2006:
41 properties over $3MM transferred
15 properties over $5MM transferred and
15 properties over $10MM did as well
That's 71 properties over $3MM changing hands.
The high price for the quarter was the $43MM Schwartzman sale on Further Lane in East Hampton. md
